Music and event trucking company EST is delighted to now run a fleet of 15 Euro 5 standard trucks, within their 50 strong fleet, as the latest in a number of measures EST has taken to reduce their harmful emissions. EST's trucks now produce particle emissions 25% below the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicles) standard.
EST is committed to enhancing its green credentials, and is consequently updating their fleet at an accelerated rate to keep up with the increasingly stringent emission directives in place across Europe, as well as enabling them to meet the demands of the busy year ahead including, Star Wars, Michael Bublé and Rod Stewart.
EST's constant and concerted efforts to improve their green credentials and decrease the production of harmful emissions in day-to-day practices, increasingly supports the industry's drive to deliver environmentally sound events.
Internally, a great effort has been made to educate EST's personnel so that they are predisposed towards developing efficient logistical solutions. All EST drivers are trained to practice environmental driving methods, and their performance is regularly reviewed and checked. In addition, EST uses the relationships it has built over 35 years in the industry to encourage suppliers to adopt carbon neutral practices and follow effective sustainability policies.
